CHICAGO (Reuters) - Chile's Codelco, the world's No. 1 copper producer, said Monday it is shedding 15.6 percent of its executives to cut costs in an environment of falling copper prices.

Codelco said the layoffs will take effect on November 1, will make the management team from the existing 302 reduced to 255.
